Pursuant to SP Ordinance No. 6037 of 2019, all Tourism establishments/ activities in Butuan City are mandated to register through the assistance of City Tourism Office. This is to come up with an updated inventory of all the available resources to be used in the formulation and updating of the Local Tourism Development Plans, determination of economic and social impacts as well as enforcement of standards and regulations.
Here are the documentary requirements to be complied in order to be registered:
1. Application Form, duly accomplished
2. Mayorβs Permit
3. Latest Income Tax Return (Not Applicable for New Establishment)
4. If Corporation or Partnership:
*Copy of Article of Corporation / Partnership & By-Laws
*SEC / CDA Registration Certificate
If Single Proprietorship:
*Business Name Registration Certificate (DTI)
5. Notarized List of Employees (with their respective designation, nationalities, age and home address)
6. Insurance
Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Policy
(For Bodily Injuries, Property Damages and Food Poisoning)
7. Tourism Monthly Statistical Report (If applicable)
8. Registration Fee (If not DOT accredited)
