The City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department through its Regulatory Division successfully conducted inspections on 47 Tourism-Related Establishments (TREs) before the year concluded. The breakdown reveals that 21 TREs underwent inspection in Quarter 3 (July-September), and 26 TREs were inspected in Quarter 4 (October-December). This initiative aligns with the provisions of City Ordinance No. 6037-2019, which mandates the regular assessment of TREs to verify their adherence to the established minimum requirements and standards set by the Butuan City Government. The quarterly distribution of inspections demonstrates a systematic approach, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of TREs throughout the year. This systematic monitoring contributes to sustaining high standards in the tourism sector, fostering a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors.
