Nanguna si President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa inaugural nationwide distribution of cash gifts sa mga benepisyaryo. Mapasalamaton ang 85 anyos nga si Marietta Bokingo nga usa siya sa nakadawat sa10,000 pesos ilawom sa Republic Act 11982, o ang Expanded Centenarians Act of 2024. "I'm very very happy that I've reached this age. I'm also thanking this government, the National Government and Local Government of Butuan, especially that they are allocating the budget for this occasions,” sumala ni Lola Marietta Bokingo. Dugang pa ni Bokingo, usa siya ka vegetarian ug ginasiguro niya nga sakto sa oras ang iyang tulog. Dili usab niya kalimtan ang kanunay nga pag exercise ug pakig higala. Magamit kini kung ang gamit sa tubig dili molapas sa 30 cubic meters, ug electricity consumption nga limitado sa 100 kilowatt-hours.
