What is P.E.S.O.?
The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) is a non-fee charging multi-employment service facility or entity established or accredited by DOLE in Local Government Units (LGUs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs),Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and Community-Based Organization (CBOs), pursuant to Republic Act 8759 otherwise known as the PESO Act. of 1999, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
The PESOs are linked to the Regional Offices of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) for coordination and technical supervision, and to the DOLE Central Office, to constitute the National Employment Service Network.
