46 Graduates of "Ang Espesyalistang Mason"
A pool of 46 prospective and uncertified masons graduated the Six-day training on basic and advanced masonry skills last February 27, 2010 at the Conference Room 3 of the New City Hall Bldg., Butuan City conducted through the joint efforts of Pacific Cement Philippines, Inc. (PACEMCO), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the City Government of Butuan.
Power Outages Disrupt City Hall TransactionsPublic transactions at the City Hall are being disrupted by the daily power interruption that hit the entire region. To ensure the continous flow of service , a stand-by generator is being installed giving emphasis to the City Treasurer's Office and the City Civil Registrar's Office where the bulk of the transactions are conducted. Diwata ng Lahi Resumes VoyageAfter a month-long break, the " Diwata ng Lahi", a replica of the balangay or Butuan boat, resumed its journey retracing the migration routes of ancient Filipinos during the pre-Hispanic era. Hundreds of well-wishers led by the former City Mayor and Butuan Tourism Council chairperson Daisy B. Plaza and SP Members gathered at the PPA grounds during the send-off ceremony last February 4, 2010. |
