What a wonderful place!  Aside from being one of the nicest places, we are very much endeared with your city. This is so because as per record kept at the xylarium of FPRDI, UPLB and the Philippine National Museum herbarium, your city nestles one of the most beloved and most sought tree of our city, Candon. The tree is named Kandong (Memecylon lanceolatum Blanco.).  Kandong tree, according to our local history was the derivative of the name of our city now, Candon.  The claim though has never been established because there have none any scientific research yet that could prove that the Kandong Tree really exists, except from verbal claims and hearsays we are gathering from descendants of charcoal makers in our locality.  To address the said "gap", our city government launched sort of a quest for the said tree.  Initial findings lead us to know that your city has the tree we have been looking for a long long time.

The civil service exams application should be passed to the civil service commission regional office not to the prc, their office is located at brgy. doongan, you can ride a tricycle going there with P7.00 as fare, thank you and good luck for the exam

I become interested searching about the history of the Kingdom of Butuan. Have you any idea if someone also carbon-dated the soil used in planting rice? Because rice is the basic food that our ancestors eat then by identifying the time when the soil used we will also know the time when the Kingdom have started. thanks.

I am writing in behalf of my brother, REYNOLD DORMIENDO VITENTE, regarding his birth certificate. He applied for a passport in DFA, unfortunately, his application was denied due to technicality. A letter from his first name is not readable, specifically letter "N" of REYNOLD. DFA is asking for a clear copy from the civil registry of Butuan city since it was the place where he was born.

My brother, as well as our family are now based in Manila and we are a bit confused as to how we would be able to obtain his birth certificate. I am willing to go there and get a clear copy of his birth certificate but my concern is how long will it take to release the said birth certificate because I'm planning to take just a one day trip. Is it possible that his BC be sent to us? If yes, what do we do? If no, what do we do?

Please enlighten us and we are hoping for a favorable response.
