First Investment Meeting of City Mayor Amante
Right after the investiture of City Mayor Ferdinand M. Amante Jr on June 30, 2010 as the newly elected mayor of Butuan City, he met with the business sector of the city to draw support from them and inviting them to increase and expand their current investment to address the economic concern of the people.
The meeting was composed of local businessmen as well as representatives from different multi-national corporations coming from Korea, Malaysia and Mainland China, who eyed a possibility of investing here in Butuan, especially the putting up of an eco-zone.
Also, a consensus of support was declared by all the attending businessmen who believe in the sincerity of the new Mayor to transform the business environment of the city to be more friendly and accommodating to investors.
