Provision of agricultural extension activities/services

A fully developed agricultural sector of Butuan City which attains food security, self-sufficiency and global competitiveness propelled by organized & empower agricultural stakeholders who adapt environment-friendly and sustainable farming technologies in the year 2005.

Conducts and provides agricultural extension activities, farm management and home management technology.

Promote appropriate farming practices that enable the farmers to attain productivity as the key to raising the quality of life for all; Educate the farmers in the optimum utilization of resources, thus obtaining sustainability and good returns of investment, and Provide technical and support services to address the concerns on key agricultural and fishery development areas for an improved growth within the sector and prosperity for the people.

To disseminate agri-technology updates, farm management skills, pest management practices, entrepreneurial capabilities and other pertinent info;

To undertake research and development services activities;

To strengthen rural based organization.

To reorganize achievement of farmers' and fisher folks in their production efforts and other significant economic activities.
