Office Function: Provide competent services and staff to handle all ca-ses needing medical attention To provide highly technical and up-to-date facilities and equipments for sophisticated services of a tertiary type hospital To continue a well-funded indigenous program; To provide measures necessary to increase the num-ber of clients seeking our services; To adopt plans and programs designed to increase income To improve orthopedic and traumatic services of the hospital in line with the rapid industrialization of the city. To improve and expand the out-patient and emergen-cy department, equipped with modern facilities, to im-prove and expand a separate well-planned isolation ward. To train and develop hospital staff through in-services training and seminars for better quality and efficient services To expand the medical and nursing services into sepa-rate functional department, with additional physicians in the different fields of specialties and specialized nursing. To improve our x-ray department with additional e-quipment like stationary x-ray machine, mobile C-arm X-ray machine and automatic film processor (heavy duty type) Provide technical data necessary for the City Mayor and other Officials for purposes of budget preparation; To maintain the cleanliness, sanitation and sterilized areas that are needed to be sterilized. |
Objectives: To undertake the promotions, protection, and preser-vation of the total health care of the Population and provides functional program for the people of Butuan city in particular, including the areas outside the city in general To render medical services and / or assistance to cha-rity, Medicare, and pay patients not only to residents of Butuan City, but also to the far flung areas of other provinces seeking our services. To extend new technical methods acquired and provi-ded maximum health services possible in all branches of medicine to the people especially in the rural areas and to provided good health care with adequate hos-pital facilities, equipment, and supplies for a more effi-cient, up-to-date performance, and operation. To provide and / or render services which are mostly curative as well as preventive in aspect and nature, to provide areas for referrals from other hospitals and ru-ral units To provide as much as possible the staff of the hos-pital including manpower development through trai-nings and seminars as required by the Department of Health To provide the City Mayor, members of the Sang-guniang Panlungsod, and other officials of the city technical advice, request and other data needed in the formulation of policies of the hospital in con-sonance and relation with the Department of Health, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHILHEALTH) and other health agencies.
