Mayor Plaza Distributed Lot Certificates at Barangay Lumbocan

One Hundred Twenty Three (123) homeowners from Lumbocan Homewoners Assocation Inc. received their certificate of lot awards from Mayor Democrito D.Plaza II last February 26, 2008 at the Lumbocan Barangay Hall.

The total land area of the relocation site is 5,383 square meters giving the homeowners an estimated area of 220 square meters each.

The total lot area cost the city government a total amount of Php 753,620.00 Pesos payable in Seven Years (7) or Forty Eight (48) Months by each homeowner member or direct beneficiary of the said housing facility from Lumbocan Fish Port.

The development of the landsite and road concreting will be undertaken by the city government through the City Housing and Development Office while the development of the open space and other facilities will be handled by the association, the barangay and the aid from the City Mayor Plaza and the City Councilors

For now, plans are underway to apply for the construction of the housing requirements from Butuan Habitat for Humanity.
